Local Outreach

Beginning in March of 2009, we will resume our Hospitality Tent in Jacobson Park.   On Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM we give away free hotdogs and bottle water and interact with people.   Many people at the park are new to the area and we find that many appreciate the gift and the encouragement that we can give.   We have tracts available and can pray with people if the need arises.   But mostly it is a time of blessing the community in a simple and tangible way.
Two volunteers are needed each week.   The tent and the food are brought to the volunteer.   All you have to do is show up, cook the dogs, and love people for Jesus.
